A group of 19th century French roll print cotton borders. Repeat blossom and scrolled leaf design with what looks like an artichoke. The entire piece is actually 3 pieces that appear to be machine stitched together There are five piece sof equal size and one border is two pieces stitched together with a seam running across width. Colors are shades of blue and off white. Faint scroll work in the background in beige.

Each border piece on its own is approx
9 cm wide.
Condition
No holes and no damage. Some slight variation in the beige scroll work due to age and use.
Still shows some tiny age spots here and there which may come up with a deeper clean but leaving that up to the discretion of the customer.
The fabric has been given a long cold water soak to remove dust and dirt and then lightly laundered in cold water using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents.
It is our aim to deliver a clean and pressed product when possible. We take care to preserve the color and integretity of the fabric since many of our fabrics our used for reproduction.
