A 19th century French cotton block print fabric. Florals and leaves on long stems in goldish tan, white and green that alternate with a double leafy branch design. All against an indigo blue background.

Condition
Quilted at one time so you will see light traces of quilt lines.
Colors are good strong and even.
Small holes and a some small breaks here and there throughout with some small areas in good useable condition (for patchwork) without damage but best suited for documentation or small projects.
The fabric has been giving a long cold water soak to remove dust and dirt and then a cold water wash using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents.
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
