A late 19th century French needlework. Hand done. Wool with silk thread accents. Chair cover depicting a classical figure holding a musical instruments with a  ring of florals and leaves around the sides.

Even surface soiling due to use. You may want to give the needlework a professional cleaning before use.
 
Heavier thread in the blossoms and leaves.  Some thread loss in and around the figure. No holes or damage for the rest and the base is in good strong condition so the needlework could easily be used  for upyholstery projects, soft furnishings or would frame up nicely.
