Love the material and marks on this vintage French marine sack. Possibly a postage sack since it was described to me as being for used for "pacot." Heavy linen with mostly machine stitching except for the long seam that runs down the side where you can see that the edges have been hand stitched with a loop stitch. The most notable stamp is one that wraps around one side and appears to be APCH. There is a name at the opposite side but very light and hard to read as well as a few light letters. Metal rings at the top and a rope for closure. Natural linen color.

Left in "as found" condition. 
 
Has a clean appearance. There are various small stains here and there as well as marks. Some old darned repairs. A hole on one side towards the bottom.
