A late 19th century French needlework. Hand done. Wool with silk thread accents. Chair cover depicting a classical figure riding a tiger with a  ring of florals and leaves around the sides.

Even surface soiling due to use. You may want to give the needlework a professional cleaning before use.
 
Heavy thread which can be easily seen when held up to the light. Especially along the bottom holf of the needlewor. Large hole bottom center.  For the rest the needlework could easily be used  for upyholstery projects, soft furnishings or would frame up nicely.
