An early 1900's French jewelry box. Outside black leather top with gold stenciling around the top edges and a monogram center. The sides appear to be a black glazed paper. Insides a ruched blue silk with matching cording around the side and top inside same blue silk with stamped name in gold. Metal clip closure.

Condition
Other than giving the box a dusting left in "as found" condition.
Some light wear at edges and a couple of small scrapes on the sides. Heavier wear at the bottom. Would probably even out with a good polishing if desired. Closure is in good working order and closes tightly.
