We've carefully hand stitched this 19th century French cotton fabric sample to a hand written 19th century French letter.
The fabric is a repeating block design of stylized florals design with a tiny dotted pattern in the background.

Condition
Left in "as found" condition.
Fabric is in good condition with consistant colors and no damage. It was quilted at one time so you will see light traces of quilt lines.
Letter shows signs of wear and age and a bite/missing piece out of one side.
