We've carefully hand stitched this 19th century French cotton fabric sample to a hand written 19th century French letter. 
 
The fabric is a repeating block design of crocus with a tiny stylized blossom on leafy stem background. Colors are shades of lavender, green, natrual red, a bit of yellow and shades of brown and creme.
