Early 1900's French jewely box. Covered in a royal blue silk velvet. Brass fittings on the top and at the corners bottom.
Inside is lined with a light blue sateen fabric. Inside top of lid has a pleated corner and a strip of fabric probably for holding sewing items.
There is a locking mechanism. Lid is probably fixed with metal hinges but can not be seen since they are covered with velvet.
Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.

Overall good condition with a good appearance
Some slight wear to the velvet but nothing major and what you would expect on an item of this age.

Inside of lid may have had a rectangular piece applied at one corner at one time but is now missing and you can see the glue lines where it would have been placed.
