A small early 1900s French display case. Appears to be made of a wooden base and covered with silk brocade. Sides have been outlined with gold metallic trims.
The bottom is covered with leather and has a French inscription. The back appears to be covered with an oxblood covered paper.
The door has a beveled piece of glass and a turn key latch for clothing. Inside the case is a glass shelf.
Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.
Measurements
10 cm across the back x 4.5 cm from back to front.
Stands
13.5 cm high
Condition
Overall good appearance with good appearance but only time related signs of age.
Back paper cover shows some missing areas around the edges.
At the front there is a bit of gap towards the bottom where the sides meet the front. This would need a spot of glue to tack it bac in place if desired. Leaving that up to the discretion of the customer.
