A late 1800's early 1900's French cope hood. Silver work embroidery of the IHS symbol center surrounded by thorns. At the sides long brances with leaves. All done on a dark brown cotton velvet. Backed with linen.

55 cm along the top edge x 59 cm from top center to bottom center. 

Condition
 
Very good condition with only a tiny bit of missing silver thread at the bottom of the where the two branches cross each other. Nothing major.
