Love the battered, worn and distressed look of this set of 3 antique Italian wooden frames. Thick frames with decorative plastic owrk in each corner which at one time had all been painted gold. Corners have all been hammered together with nails. No glass in the frames. Perfect for old collage work, distressed fabrics or paper.

Condition
 
Highly distressed with much of the plaster work missing leaving a very aged and time worn appearance. Many scrapes and knicks. One frame has a hole drilled into it at each side which I would fill with a filler. You will see a bit of gap at the corners but the frames are stable.
