Four pieces in this lot. Late 1800's early 1900's French sleaves. Part of a dress of costume at one time. Each large piece seems to line up and fit with one of the smaller pieces. The background material is off white and probably cotton but feels a bit light a light felt. Hand embroidered done in a silk threads in shades of blue. Metallic embroidered done in a flat wider copper thread. At the end of the smaller piece three buttons. At the end of the larger pieces three loops for the buttons.

The narrower piece measure approx.
54 cm in length x 14.5 cm wide at the top of the sleeve
the wider pieces measure
57 cm from top to bottom x 28 cm across the top of the sleeve
Condition
Smaller pieces
-One piece has a couple of loose copper threads.
-Other piece has a hole in the fabric at the middle and two damaged areas towards the top plust some loose and missing copper thread.
Larger pieces
-One piece has a small damaged area just off the middle and a few loose copper threads
-Other piece is in very good condition. The only thing to note is that is appears to not be totally finished off. At the middle line you will see some diamond shaped pencil marks where the embroidery was intended to have copper thread.
Very decorative set on it's own of for upscaling.
