An early 1900's French silk and metallic brocade ribbon trim. Beautifully made on a finely woven cotton base with dark silver metallic thread woven throughout the background. Brocade silk and metallic motifs of birds that alternate with a scene of the sun and foilage together with smaller scenes of stylized foilage. Colors are dark and light shades of orange with burgundy
