Striking design in this 19th century Moroccan ceremonial jacket. Wool. Black. Elaborate design all done in a silver metallic soutache piping which has developed some patina through the years and has a slight goldish appearance. Embroidery front and back as well as the sleaves. The inside liner is a glazed cotton or linen. Nice quality. Photos are a good representation of actual color.

Condition
Overall good condition with a good appearance. Some slight wear to the soutach around the neck and on the soutach strip that runs on the inside of the sleaves. Two small holes in the wool on each side of the collar which I've tried to show in the photos and would need a small darned mend or patch.
