A 19th century French cotton print fabric. Small florals and with tulip shaped leaves on thin viney branches. Colros are natural red and white with light terracotta against a natural rusty brown background.

Condition

 

Tiny holes at top and bottom edge. A split at the left hand side. For the rest a few tiny pinhead holes here and there from light quilting. Edges at one side a bit rough and uneven. Few tiny thin areas but still good and strong. Nothing major. Colors good and consistant. 

 

The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 

 

It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
