A 19th century French silk ikat panel. Saved from an old chasuble. Ikat look with stylized florals and leaves down the center of the panel. Colors are shades of red to pink, shades of green, shades of aubergine. Background color is light pink.

*acutally 3 pieces of same fabric hand stitched together. Small piece at one side, a narrow strip along the curved edge and one larger piece.
Condition
One larger split in the silk at the bottom. Split along sewing line towards the top edge. The small piece at one side has come unstitched along the top and down one side. Couple of tiny holes top area. Some slight dissapearance of metallic thread due to age but nothing major. The areas without damage are in good strong condition and suitable for sewing.
