An early 1900's Chinese embroidery. Probably saved from a screen. Depicts a peacock with blossoms and leafy branches. All done in a bronze  metallic and silk thread on a brown silk back.

34 cm from top to bottom x 34 cm wide. 
 
Condition
 
Embroidery work is in good condition with only a few loose metallic threads in the tail feathers of the peacock. The silk backing has splits and somewhat fragile. Would be nice for framing or upscalping the embroidery work for smaller projects.
