A 19th century French cotton chintz border. Repeating interlocking desing in shades of green against a tan colored background. Still has a lot of it's glazing.

 Condition
 
Left in "as found" condition and not laundered. We rarely launder chintz fabrics in order to protect and preserve the glazing. Colors are good and consistant. 
 
The fabric has taken on some brownish aging which is more prevelant at each end of the border.
