Always on the lookout for small decorative frames which are becoming increasing difficult to find.
 
This 19th century French wooden frame has been painted black and probably had a bit of gold accent around the sides at one time. It has a printed illustration Fables de Florian "Les Singes et les Leopards."
 
Entirely original with wire hanger at the top, glass covering to protect the print and papered off at the back.
 
Photos are a good represenation of actual color and condition.

Other than giving the frame a good dusting left in "as found" condition.
 
Good stable condition but shows some wear and missing paint which only lends to it's charm.
