A 19th century French cotton print fabric. Predominant motifs of small florals and leaves on viney branches with swags of stylized leaves in the background. Colors are natural red, white, tan and a bit of blue against a brown background.

The width is approx.
41 cm (varies slight as right side is slightly uneven). Still has the original selvage at the left hand side.
Condition
Small holes down selvage side and along bottom edge. A couple of larger holes on the upper half of the fabric. Lpwer half of the fabric is in good condition. Colors good and consistant.
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents.
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
