A lovely piece of early 1900's French gold metallic brocade. I believe it use to be part of a dress at one time. Heavier to medium weight fabric with an intricate design of florals and leaves all done in a gold metal thread and woven into a sturdy cremey silk background. Suitable for upholstery work as well as soft furnishings. Perfect for interior project, dress making etc. Would make some elegant looking pillows.

Condition
 
Shows light signs of age but nothing major. You will see some light tarnishing areas here and there but blends well and what you would expect on an item of this age.
