Probably dating from the early 1900's this hand block painted panel saved from an old screen. Done on a light cotton muslin. Motifs of stylized birds, scroll work and leafy branches done with white paint. Light in weight.

Condition
 
Upper right hand corner and down right hand side darker discoloration due to age and a discoloration age spot left hand side midway down. A couple of tiny pinhead holes here and there but most of the fabric in good condition. 
 
Most notable is the bottom left hand corner area missing. Split at the top. Split at edge right hand side midway down.
