A 19th century French cotton block print fabric Repeating squares of florals and leaves in a natural red tone, sage green and white against a bordeaux background. Framed by lines of light green a bit of chartreaus and wider lines of lavender.

Condition
Quilted at one time so you will see light traces of quilt lines.Colors are good, strong and even. Three very light small stain towards center which may come up with a deeper cleaning.
The fabric does show two splits by two corners. Small holes around two side edges. A couple of small hols but for the rest majority of the fabric is in good useable condition.
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents.
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
