A 19th century French silk ikat panel. Saved from an old chasuble. Ikat look with stylized florals and leaves down the center of the panel. Colors are shades of red to pink, shades of green, shades of aubergine. Background color is light pink.

Condition
 
Two small stains at one end. There is a break line 40 cm in from one side. One other tiny break. Some slight dissapearance of metallic thread due to age but nothing major. For the rest the silk in in good strong condition and suitable for sewing. Colors are strong and even.
