A 19th century French ecclesiastical gold work embroidery.Depicing roses, rose buds, grapes on the vine and wheat stock. All done on a gold lame.

The entire pelemt measures 
 
1 meter 11 cm from top to bottom x 76 cm wide. 
 
Condition
 
Used with some slight surface wear to the threads here and there Some slightly heavier wear on a few pieces at the top and some missing spangles from the pieceof the wheat at the top. At the left hand side there may have been some leaves at the ends of the gold metallic twist cording which is are now missing.
