Always love it when I come across a design I've never seen before.  This mid 1800's French cotton print fabric. Wavy design in ombre shades of blue to white. A bit difficult to photography because of the intense pattern. Close up photos are the best indication of actual color.

Condition
 
Heavily quilted at one time so you will see quilt lines. 
 
Holes along all sides. Some larger holes here and there and many small holes. Many thin areas. A couple of dark small stains one of center and one just off of center above and some small stains at the bottom. One old repair at the bottom. 
 
 Colors are good and consistant for the most part although you will see some variation and there is an even lighting of the color from age and exposure. Original color can be seen at the sides where the fabric was not exposed. 
 
Probably best suited for small projects like patching, scraping, textile are or documenation. 
 
The fabric has been given a very long cold water soak to remove dust and dirt and then a gentle wash in cold water with those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to deliver and clean and pressed product when possible but take great care to preserve the original color and the integretity of the fabric.
