An early 1900' French linen flour sack. Monogram at the top "V" in cross stiching. Seams are all hand stitched. Stamped inscription on one side "Verneret," Coarser weave.

Left in "as found" condition and not laundered. Could use a freshing up.
Two small holes one side. Slightly larger hole on the other side in a patch.
Light stains on both sides.
One side four good size patches and four patches that overlap to the other side. Other side has five patches in various sizes.
Several old darns in various sizes on both sides.
