A gorgeous piece of antique gold metallic lace. French in origin. Probably dates from the 1920's/30's. Possibly part of a dress at one time. The piece is made up of bands of gold metallic lace with a repeating blossoms design done in a silk thread and hand stitched together. The laces have developed a warm even patina and will look  great with old fabrics. Good metal content and weight.

Used but still in good condition for the most part except some fray of threads where the piece has been cut.
