Probably and early 1900's Chinese embrroidry. Depicting a two figures sittting and standing at the edge of waves. All hand done in a silk thread on what appears to be a beige cotton back and linend with a finely woven muslim cotton for stability. At the back you will see stamped Chinese letters and motifs on the muslim cotton.

Condition
 
Left in "as found" condition. 
 
Good condition with no breaks or damage. The only thing to note is a small area under the figures with a light pinkish mark and another small mark at the left edge.
