An early 1800's French cotton block print fabric. Repeating design of larger blossoms with stylized smaller blossoms and leaves. Colors are light blue, madder red and white with a brown background. 
 
Full repeat but missing pieces.

*actually two pieces of the same fabric hand seamed together. Selvage can be seen at the seam. 
 
Condition
 
Other than remving from a French quilt and a thousan threads from the back left in "as found" condition. The fabric is very distressed with large and small holes and thin areas throughout. Not laundered. You may want to give a cold water soak and cold water wash to remove dust and dirt. Clean look with no stains. 
 
Colors are still strong and even for the most part except the background color which shows variation due to age and use.
