Rich look and colors in this 19th century French cotton print fabric. Indienne influences as well as some Arabic looki,g writing in some of the motifs. Depicts exotic looking florals, leaves and scrolls. 
 
Colors are rosey red, pink, light blue, light grey, mustard, tan and dark brown with a creme colored background.

Condition
 
Somewhat distressed with several small holes and pinholes; slight variations in color due to age and being quilted at one time. Slight soiling of background color which may come up with a deeper cleaning if desired. 
 
The fabric has been given a long cold water soak to removed dust and dirt using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve the color and the integrety of the fabrci since many of our fabrics are being reproduced.
