Feel very fortunate to have found another piece of this early 1800's French toile du jouy. Finely woven cotton. Romantic looks of birds on branches, butterflies and groups of fruit which include a pineapple and pomegranite. Deep shades of aubergine color with shades of brwon and creme.

Condition
 
Left in "as found" condition. Good clean appearance. you may want to give the fabric a cold water soak and cold water wash to freshen if desired. 
 
Overall good condition with the larger motifs intact without damage. Break in fabric upper left hand corner edge. Small holes at the side edges but nothing major. A couple of tiny pinholes and some very tiny age spots that blend well into the background. 
 
No stains. Colors are strong, even and consistant.
