For a perfect vintage French country look, we have added several of these blue and white striped linen fabrics to our website.
 
Dating from the early 1900's, this piece has aged beautifully with slight variations in color, A few darned repairs. Some very soft shades of blues to darker shades of blue that alternate with white white. Everything hand stitched including the narrow hems at the sides.
 
Linen is good and strong and suiteable for soft furnishings as well as uphosltery projects.
 
Photos are a good represenation of actual color and condition.

*actually two pieces that have been hand stitched together with a seam that runs from top to bottom in the length and is 15 cm in from one side. 
 
Condition
 
Left in "as found" condition. The fabric has a clean appearance.
 
As mentiioned above many darned repairs. Some variation in colors due to age but has a nice look. At one side you can see how one of the blue stripes has a spot that has faded almost out to white. 
 
Some small thin areas here and there. Several good small areas without damage.
