An early 1900's French cotton toile du jouy. The original design was made by Oberkampf and dates from the 1700's. Depicts classical figures. Bordered in stylized leaves and blossoms. Colors are blue and white.

*please note that at the bottom of the panel there is a seam that runs across the width through the bottom motif. You can tell that the motif is not perfectly matched up. 
 
Condition
 
Left in "as found" condition and not laundered. Good clean appearance for the most part but could use a freshening up. 
 
No holes or stains. You can see that the top part of the panel ia a shade darker in color that the motifs center and bottom that have lightened evenly with age.
