Rare find! An early 1900's French display box with laundry labels. Wooden frame around the outside with a faux wood cardboard covering. Cardboard backing at the back of the case.  Slots of cardboard on the inside for holding cardboard boxes of labels with initials. There are 160 boxes of labels. Could easily be mounted on a wall if desired.

Shows age related wear with faux cardboard wood covering starting to peel away from the front edges but could be tacked back into place if design.  Cardboard boxes shows signs of wear but overall a good appearance and very decorative. 
 
The cardboard covering at the back of the case is in good condition but thin and the labels are quit heavy so you may want to brace the back the case for more stability.
