Early 1900's French chanvre linen sack. Natural linen color. Thick weave. All seams and hems hand stitched. Strong material and perfectly suited for upholstery projects and soft furnishings.

Left in as found condition and not laundered.
 
One corner at the bottom worn through. The opposite corner has an old darn and patch. Top edge of the sack a bit grubby and has some stains. 
 
The sack has a relatively clean appearance but could use a wash to freshen up.
