Early 1900's French cotton under vest. I love the way this vest is made and it looks great worn over shirts as well. 
 
Dark beige color with bands around the arms inside edges.  Curved opening down the front and close with mother of pearl buttons.

Things to note: 
 
-group of small holes top front 
-one old darn under one arm
-large beautiful darn at one side bottom
-patch at other side with a darn at each side
-small hole top of back
-a couple of pinhead holes back
-some thinning of the material bottom edge. 
-all buttons on the front intact. 
 
The garment has been in storage for many years and could use a good soak to freshen and remove dust. No obvious dark stains.
