Early 1900's French cotton under vest. I love the way this vest is made and it looks great worn over shirts as well. 
 
Beige color with bands around the inside arm edges in a lighter beige, Curved opening down the front and close with mother of pearl buttons.

Things to note: 
 
-split in fabric under one arm
-several large decorative old darns along the bottom back that wrap around towards the front. You will see some splits in the fabric and some thin areas around the darned areas. 
-light age spots at the back 
-all buttons on the front intact. 
 
The garment has been in storage for many years and could use a good soak to freshen and remove dust. No obvious dark stains.
