An early 1900's  French gentlemens vest. Cotton. Front is a heavier woven cotton with a tiny black dot design. Back is a solid white cotton.  Striped cotton liner hand stitched. Buttons down the front. Two inside pockets. Buckle at back. Mostly machine stitched with the liner hand stitched.

55 cm from top of neckline to point at bottom 
41.5 cm from one side of shoulder to other side of shoulder
59 cm from under arm to under arm. 
 
Condition
 
Good condition with no damage. It appears that one of the buttons is a replacement. The vest shows some yellowing from dust and being in storage. Very light stain towards the bottom back. Inside liner shows some heavier yellowing which will probably lift with a professional clean. 
 
Left in "as found" condition.
