Love the design and color combination in this early 1800's French cotton block print. Tear drop shaped motifs with a bit of pink and red at the center with eyelash outlines in dark brown. Set against a dark brown dot and gold background.

Entire piece measures
 
22 cm from top to bottom x 19 cm wide. 

Condition
 
Good condition with no damage but does show some color variation of background color due to age and possibly light stains. Colors of motifs are good strong and even. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
