A late 1800's early 1900's French cotton print fabric. Repeating diamond and squiggly line design in white against a navy blue background.
Full repeat.
Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.
Measurements
1 meter 31 cm in length x 30 cm wide
*I believe this was once part of a skirt at one time because there is a sewn in triangle shape dart just off the center of the fabric and a hand stitched seam along one edge.
Condition
Overall good condition with no damage or holes. No stains. Colors are even and consistant except for one small stain at towards one edge. Slight signs of aging and a bit of soiling which would probably come up with a deeper cleaning if desired.
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents.
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
