An exceptional and well preserved piece of 19th century Ottoman embroidered trim. All done with a gold metal thread. Open weave. Repeat design of a dragons head that alternate with an intertwined double leaf motif. Straight edges along both sides. Medium warm patina and even throughout. Will look great with antique textiles and jeweled rich colors. I've photographed the trim with a few different colored backgronds.
