Always on the lookout for small decorative frames which are becoming increasing difficult to find. 
 
This 19th century French wooden frame has been painted black and probably had a bit of gold accent around the sides at one time. It has a printed illustration Fables de Florian "Le Chien Coupable."
 
Entirely original with wire hanger at the top, glass covering to protect the print and papered off at the back. 
 
Photos are a good represenation of actual color and condition.

Other than giving the frame a good dusting left in "as found" condition.
 
Good stable condition but shows some wear and missing paint which only lends to it's charm.
