Circa 1900 this French gentlemens vest. Wool. Black in color. Black back. White cotton liner which appears to be hand and machine stitched. Still has all of it's original buttons. Buckle at back. 
 
Photos are a good indication of actual color and condition.

61 cm from top of neckline to point at bottom 
27.5 cm from one side of shoulder to other side of shoulder
45 cm from under arm to under arm. 
 
Condition
 
Left in "as found" condition. 
 
Good condition overall. A couple of small holes at the inside bottom front which can be seen in the photos. Tiny hole just under one of the under arms. Tiny stain in the liner at the neckline. You can see a tiny bit of wear at the edge of one of the under arms but nothing major. 
 
The vest has been in storage for a long time so you may want to give a drycleaning to freshen.
