Circa 1900 this French gentlemens vest. Black wool front. Black back. Striped cotton liner. For some odd reason a line of small white porcelain buttons along the inside outer edges  Still has all of it's original buttons. Buckle at back with a hand stitched in label.

56.5 cm from top of neckline to point at bottom 
38 cm from one side of shoulder to other side of shoulder
45.5 cm from under arm to under arm. 
 
Condition
 
Left in "as found" condition. 
 
Front good condition. Back has a small break in fabric at the side. Liner as you can see in the photos is missing some pieces. 
 
The vest has been in stoarage for awhile so you may want to give it a drycleaning to freshen.
