Probably dating from the 1920's this French oil painting. Depicts a dirt path, a tree and some small hills in the foreground with what looks like a bit of the sea in the background. No signature. Paint has been heavily applied and has a somewhat impressionistic look to it. What I love about the painting is that the artist has really captured the look and feel of the Provence. 
 
Done on particle board. Unframed.
