A large antique French sampler. Dated 1923. Made by Angele Barraud. Hand embroidered cross stitch in a cotton thread. Depicts letters of the alphabet from top to bottom with birds, cats, florals and basket motifs along the bottom edge.

Condition
 
Very good condition with strong even colors and no missing thread. The only thing to note is one tiny age spot at the center of the sampler.
