An antique French child's bonnet. Probably dating from the early 1900's. The top needlwork lace appears to be machine made. The lace trim that goes all the way around the edges of the bonnet appears to be hand made. Hand made ribbon work rosettes made of silk at the corners and a piece that goes around the top. Pretty silk bow at the back in a creme color. Inside is lined and all hand stitched.

16 cm from top to bottom x 17.5 cm front to back.
Condition
Left in "as found" condition. Good condition with no damage but does show some even yellowing in the laces due to age.
