I love the look and feel of these early 1900's French tea towel. Cotton/silk combination with blocks of stripes going in alternating directions to give the fabric a basket weave look to it. Indigo blue and white in color. At the middle and at each side and blue linen hanger has been hand stitched to the side. On the underside at one corner a hand stitched in label with the initials GI. The fabric has a soft elegant feel to it with nice flow. Meidum weight and would be suitable for soft furnishings or upholstery projects.
